Plans contantly in motion

This week my boss sat me down (again) and delivered some news. I will not be deploying this month. In fact, I won’t be deploying till March. At first I was really upset (angry, sad, etc.) but now realize theres not much I can do about it. Between now and then I will be traveling and doing installations at different sites.

My first installation site is San Antonio Tx. They (bosses) asked me if that was ok, and I said ‘yes, of course’. I’ll get to see family (Mom and KC and Bill). While the first installation is in TX, the others might be in Alaska and Germany as well. Don’t know about those yet.

At least I’ll be busy for the next couple of months. But still, if I had my choice I would be over with Curtis tomorrow.

So glad you will be in Texas. I can enjoy some time with you. I know being with Curtis would be so much better. But I am being a little selfish. And am a little jealous about Alaska and Germany. LOL.
    Love Mom

Argh, I’m sorry to hear that, mate. I keep wishing whenever I read this that your next blog will read ‘I’m deploying tomorrow!’.
Not that I want you back over there, but, well, you know..

And if you’re headed overseas, try and wrangle an installation in Oz at the very least! I will lay out the red carpet for ya 🙂

    Julia,

The hurry up and wait Army stuff gets old, so hand in there. Just try to be positive. Yes I said “Be positive”. Since you may be stateside you can watch the sainted Green Bay Packers this Saturday. I think they’ll lose but it was a fun season. If you get to Oz say “Hello” to all the Aussies from me. Plus enjoy the beer in Germany. I do envy you some times.

    Julia,

I’ll hand in there if you stay contantly in motion. Where is Saint Spellcheck when you need her?
